Program Description

CrossFit Thalwil hosts Kids Camps during all school holidays, with the goal of forging broad, general and inclusive fitness knowledge at an early age, while also teaching them vital tech skills for the future.


Our Camps offer an all inclusive camp experience in a relaxed yet exciting and fun environment filled with challenges and surprises each and every day.


Our camps awaken children’s natural love for exercise, enhance their cognitive skills and promote working in teams, while they learn different skills from a variety of sports and learn about nutrition through interactive activities.


We prioritize each child’s safety, happiness, and well-being. While we encourage participation in all activities, we always provide an alternative, supervised option to ensure every child feels comfortable and has the best experience possible.

  • Full Week – Sign up for an entire week of activities.
  • Full Days (08:00 – 18:00) – Choose specific full days.
  • Half Days with Lunch (08:00 – 13:00) – Select half days, including lunch.

  • What would a daily schedule look like?

    The detailed weekly schedule will be sent by e-mail approximately one week before the camp starts. The program is customized for each camp week, ensuring no repetition of the previous week’s schedule.

  • What language is the Camp lead?

    Our camps are led mainly in English with some coaches bilingual in both English and German

  • What does my child need to bring to camp?

    1. Backpack
    2. Filled Water bottle
    3. Appropriate clothing based on weather
    4. Sunscreen / insect spray as needed

  • What if my child has allergies or special needs?

    Please make a note in the additional information section of the registration process of your child’s allergies and whether pre-prepared snacks and lunches from home should be substituted during breaks and meal time. Please list out any additional special needs that your child may have that we should be aware of.

  • Snack/Food Policy

    Unless for medical reasons or allergies, and with pre-arrangement with Crossfit management, we ask that all camp participants do not bring additional snacks or food with them to camp.  This is for the safety of other participants and for overall fairness. Snacks and lunches will be provided by Crossfit.

  • Late drop off / Pick up policy

    The success of the camp for all the kids and our coaches requires that we respect the drop off and pick up timeframes. As such we kindly ask all parents to adhere to this especially for pick up time as it may be a long day for your child. Kindly see below the policy for late drop off/pick up


    Late drop off: no penalty, but if group is away, child must be brought to current group location


    Late pick up: 20 CHF every 15 mins

  • Early pick up policy

    As our schedule is planned in advance, please list out any known early pick up during the registration process. During camp week, please provide at least 48 hours notice of any early pick up. All request must be signed off by the Head Camp Director


    Unused time and/or meals due to early pick up cannot be refunded

  • What if my child is sick and/or needs to miss part of the camp?

    Please inform us as soon as you know that your child is ill and/or will not be coming to camp. This way we can keep our camp coaches informed accordingly.


    Once camp has started, missed days cannot be replaced or reimbursed.


    3+ Missed days with medical certificate, reimbursed 50%

  • How are accidents, injuries and mishaps handled during camp?

    All our coaches are certified in first aid. Minor accidents and injuries are managed in-house. When required, professional help and support will be obtained.  In all cases, we will keep you informed. For emergencies we will contact you directly. For other cases, it will be recorded and mentioned to the parents/guardian during pick up time.

  • Cancellation policy

    1. +30 calendar days before start date, 100% full refund
    2. 14-29 calendar days before start date, -30% cancellation fees
    3. 7 – 13 calendar days before start date, -50% cancellation
    4. Less than 7 calendar days before start date, no refund possible

    Refunds will be made within 14 calendar days of written cancellation, minus applicable cancellation fees.


    Cancellation from Crossfit is made with minimal 14 calendar days notice and with full refund

  • Payment Term

    100% of fees is due at the time of booking; if you require a payment plan, please contact us in advance.

  • Are the Camps reimbursed by the health insurance?

    Yes, our facility and courses, including the CrossFit Kids Camp, are recognized by all Swiss health insurance providers with a premium package (complementary additional insurance). Reimbursement depends on your individual policy. Upon request, we can provide a receipt and the necessary form to claim reimbursement from your insurer.
